Elephant Stone supporting The Soundtrack of Our Lives!

We are very excited and honoured to announce that Elephant Stone will be supporting rock’n'roll legends The Soundtrack of Our Lives on their upcoming North American dates. We’ve been huge fans of TSOOL since god knows when and actually had the privilege to share a stage with them at SXSW 2011. They are an unbelievable live band and wonderful people. Dates below.

Elephant Stone Playing Osheaga!

On Sunday July 31st, Elephant Stone will be sharing the stage with the Flaming Lips (playing the Soft Bulletin!), Deathcab for Cutie, Eels, Malajube, Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Fucked Up… the list goes on! Osheaga is a great festival and is pretty kids friendly (make sure they have proper ear protection!). Our set time is still to be confirmed, so keep checking the SHOWS page for updates.

Elephant Stone on Southern Souls

While in Toronto for CMW, we met up with the amazing Mitch Fillion to film two songs for Southern Souls. The plan for the shoot was to find a location on Gerard St. E. (also known as Little India). We checked out a few restos and a music store, but to no avail. Then we happened upon Maharani Fashions.The kind punjabi (represent!) manager welcomed us into his shop and we knocked off two numbers: “A Morning Song” from The Seven Seas and “Savage Soul” from The Glass Box EP.

US Tour, SXSW, and CMW!

Hi Friends!
Happy new years! Hope you all had a nice holiday and that February isn’t being too much of a downer. We’ve been busy here at Elephant Stone HQ booking shows and making plans. 2010 was a great year for us, and we’re trying make sure 2011 is even better! How is that possible? Well, first thing we’re playing SXSW and touring the USA! That’s right, we’re hitting the road and touring down to SXSW (with a stop off in Toronto for CMW). Many of the cities are uncharted territories for ES (however, Rishi’s played a bunch of them in his High Dials days…). Be good to us Nashville, Asheville, and New Orleans. You know we love you. As for Austin, we have our official showcase and will be booking day parties over the next few weeks. So, keep check back here for updates.
